ABOUT BIOVASA 2025 CONGRESS

The International Congress on “Biomass Valorisation for Sustainable applications” (BIOVASA 2025) is organized by the the Biotechnology Center of Borj-Cedria along with its Laboratory of Aromatic and Medicinal Plants (LPAM), the TIMR Laboratory "Integrated Transformations of Renewable Matter" UTC/ESCOM, with the support of the Organic Chemistry Laboratory of the University of Sfax and The Higher Institute of Environmental Science and Technology of Borj Cedria. 

BIOVASA 2025 meeting will feature scientific program of comprehensive talks, plenary sessions, oral and poster presentations. BIOVASA 2025 is focused on agro-food, perfume, cosmetic, nutraceutical, chemical, fuel and energy sectors. The whole value chain of every application is considered; cultivation, extraction, purification, processing and recycling steps.

The event will offer an overview of the most recent progress achieved in the extraction procedure with modern “Green” technologies for a more effective process sustainability. The congress is intended for scientists working in the field, and the presentations will be given by senior scientists from industry and academia.

We welcome participants from across the globe to take part in this event which will be held on October 7–8, 2025.
